100 Things About Me

1. I read Pearls Before Swine and Dilbert every day.
2. I religiously read the Dilbert blog.
3. I love turtles.
4. I collect turtle figurines.
5. My wedding dress was a dark purple maternity dress that I bought for $25.
6. I was 6 months pregnant when I married the love of my life.
7. I’ve never regretted getting married.
8. I am a grieving mother. My daughter only lived 9 days.
9. I prefer bare feet.
10. This year on Christmas day, I walked my dog wearing a t-shirt, jeans and flip flops.
11. I think cucumbers and watermelons taste the same.
12. I don’t like cucumbers or watermelons.
13. I quilt.
14. I’m a certified bartender.
15. I have brown eyes.
16. I have moved 21 times so far.
17. I could eat at Whataburger every day.
18. I was born and raised in Texas.
19. I married a twin.
20. I use writing as my therapy.
21. I talk a lot.
22. I wish on shooting stars.
23. I love to sing in the car when I am driving.
24. I don’t have cable or regular programming. My TV only plays movies from the DVD player.
25. My husband is my best friend.
26. I like to make people laugh.
27. Talking about death does not bother me.

29. I believe there is a place where our souls go after we die.
30. I have been to Mexico 3 times.
31. I have been scuba diving twice.
32. I tried to become a certified scuba diver but my ears wouldn’t let me.

36. I prefer blue ink over black ink.
37. I am still a kid at heart.
38. I give myself pity parties every few months and then get over it.
39. I wish I could quit my job and explore my artistic side more.

87. I lived with just my dad when I was in high school.

93. I like taking naps especially when it is raining and the windows are open.
94. I miss Spring Break, summer break and 6 weeks off for Christmas.

98. I like capturing the world with my camera.
99. People and their cultures fascinate me.
100. I have had a good life.

Wow, great list. We have alot in common, did you know that? I'm sorry about your daughter, even though coming from a stranger probably doesn't mean much. We both play the same instruments, love the camera, love water and snowflakes and love of animals. Very cool :)

I really enjoyed reading your 100 Things list. :) It feels like an honest list.
And I have never thought about cucumbers and watermelon tasting similar... but now that you mention it...
I think M. Engelbreit's style is cheery. I could live in a house she designed.
